THE ROLE
I am now seeking a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR in BRISTOL to join a large international firm of construction & engineering consultants.
A background working for another UK firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants is essential.
You will be involved in pre and post contract work on both public sector and private sector high value projects.
THE CLIENT
My client is a large firm of construction and engineering consultants offering clients a range of services including quantity surveying, project management, civil / structural engineering etc.
They are working on high value projects for the public and private sectors.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a SENIOR CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR who has a Degree, Masters or Diploma in Quantity Surveying and you will be RICS qualified.
You will run your own projects generally valued from GBP5m to GBP50m or more.
You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.
Ideally you will have worked on a variety of projects in the private and public sectors as they are working on student accommodation, offices, resdidential, mixed use etc. in the private sector plus other public sector projects.
You will have worked for a known UK firm of private practice quantity surveyors.
You should be able to mentor and motivate assistants.
My client pays excellent salaries - for this role ideally in the region of GBP45000 to GBP55000 which may be a bit negotiable, plus provides a range of benefits and offers excellent prospects for promotion.
