Are you ready to take the next step in your fundraising career? We are Chailey Heritage Foundation, a pioneering UK charity which educates and cares for children and young adults with complex neurological disabilities. We need a dynamic and passionate fundraiser to join our small team running major fundraising projects and awareness campaigns. You are probably an experienced fundraiser who is ready for a new opportunity, who wants to make a real difference in a team with a strong track record. You may already have some experience managing fundraising projects and events and want to take it to the next level. In recent years, the Foundation has been successful in raising its profile and increased voluntary income through a targeted programme of events, corporate sponsorship and community fundraising. We now need a Fundraising Manager to augment our team, working closely with the Development Director to build on this success. This role will be key to ensuring that we continue to raise vital funds that go directly to improving the prospects and well-being of our young people. Key responsibilities will include: Manage and take responsibility for major projects and events Support the Development Director in managing major donors Build the individual giving programme to support our legacy fundraising strategy Develop the Case for Support for projects and prepare grant funding applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies Help lead a small fundraising team tasked with growing our current supporter base through numerous fundraising events Manage budgets and ensure key targets are met Work with the Marketing team in promoting the fundraising activities for the charity You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and you will have a flair for researching and devising strategies to maximise donation opportunities. An outstanding special school, residential homes for children and young adults and range of day services for young adults are based on this site, which is shared with Chailey Clinical Services. The site includes a large hydrotherapy pool, riding facilities and a small farm as well a grade 2 listed chapel and early in 2018 a GBP3.1m building project will begin to create an exciting new facility for the whole Foundation - the Dream Centre.
