In collaboration with a Global Pharmaceutical company, we are currently looking for a SAP Manufacturing and Planning Coordinator to join the team in our state of the art facility in Cheshire. We have exciting products coming to market this year and seek this candidate as an urgent requirement to support the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the development of expertise in SAP processes and functionality through end user training, to help ensure a smooth transition to the new system and maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness thereafter.
Acting as a SAP Manufacturing expert, supporting issue resolution and new projects involving SAP / MRPII systems. Responsible for ensuring SAP live operational transactions for Operations BFS & PFS are up to date on a shift by shift bases. E.g. line schedule
balancing of work centre capacities, order release and closure etc.
Providing data on, facilitating and implementing formal velocity improvements within the BFS/PFS Manufacturing Internal Supply Chain, working with the Operations management team to help define and implement internal supply chain improvement projects which reduce cost and lead time.
Creating / reporting and maintaining filling schedules such as batch changes / timings and identifying improvement opportunities.
Maintaining and reporting on manufacturing performance data against agreed targets.
Developing broad understanding of, and expertise in, all areas of planning and supply chain, including order creation and sequencing, vendor scheduling, material planning, sales order creation and release; and supplier liaison.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience
Minimum degree qualified in Engineering, Science or Business related discipline.
Ideally to have Pharma/Regulatory/GMP experience
Knowledge
Good understanding of Business, Planning, Manufacturing
Minimum 1 years experience of working with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
Skills
Skilled in the use of SAP and Microsoft office packages
