Dementia Action Alliance Executive Lead Join our team: we'll take on dementia together Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. Position: Dementia Action Alliance Executive Lead Location: London Contract type: Full time Hours: 35 per week Salary: GBP47,870 per annum (actual) Closing date: Midday on Thursday 22nd March Interview date: Thursday 5 April in London with a pre-interview discussion on the afternoon of 26 March in the Alzheimer's Society central office, London About the role: The Executive Lead will translate the strategy, as directed by the Dementia Action Alliance Steering Group, into a business plan and a comprehensive programme of engagement which will deliver improved outcomes for people living with dementia and carers when they access health and social care. The Executive Lead will galvanise and channel the voices of the DAA members to provide a sector wide response to dementia. About you: We are looking for someone with a current knowledge of health and social care policy and understanding of dementia. The post holder will have proven experience in relationship management and of leading a small team within a large organisation. You will have experience of leading impactful campaigns for change, engaging with multiple stakeholders and utilising relationships to best effect. We are seeking someone with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to motivate teams to deliver varied work streams. Alzheimer's Society is committed to equal opportunities.
