We are growing fast - with three existing sites, we will be opening a further six London sites as well as additional sites in LA and Lisbon over the next two years.

We are now looking for an exceptional CFO to be fully accountable for the financial and risk management operations of our growing business. You will have direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, securing new funding and investor relations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the co-founders and senior management on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts
  • Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the co-founders and COO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery
  • Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organisation including: company revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organisational and contract/grant budgets
  • Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations with funders and pension plan requirements, as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Significant and proven experience at FC or CFO level, ideally with a high growth business
  • Fundraising experience
  • A high degree of presence and personal gravitas in order to liaise with and to influence world class investors and management.
  • Strong financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organisation of at least 50 employees
  • Strong problem solving and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • Strong leadership - Have built and upskilled a finance team
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Have a high attention to detail allied to the ability to contribute strategically
  • Be commercially astute and can quickly assess business priorities and opportunities
  • At least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree and preferably a member of any professional accounting body ( ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA/etc.)
