CFO

I am working with a Private Equity backed distribution business looking for a CFO to come in and help drive the business forward, grow the ebitda margin by 4 times and then go through and exit. They have an impressive client list that is only growing and looking to open another warehouse as well.

Key Responsibilities

You will be tasked with:

• Building a strong finance function, systems and processes to support the growth of the business
• Overseeing and developing good quality controls
• Balance sheet management - including potential debt raising and working capital management
• Business partnering with the CEO, management team and investors on both financial and broad business based decisions to the overall performance of the business
• Working very closely with the management team to challenge forecasts and drive performance
• Managing costs and ensuring good margin management

• Strong interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence - ability to work across the business, building relationships with operational and commercial management
• Hands-on approach - happy getting into detail
• Strong problem solving and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis

• Private equity/financial sponsor experience is beneficial.
• Experience in an SME environment
• Well organised, ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
• Strong drive and motivations to succeed
• Ideally experience within FMCG / manufacturing / distribution
