Digital Product Manager

Hastings Direct has been shaking up the insurance industry over the past few years; we have exciting ambitions and a strategy in place to grow even further with a great digital customer experience at the heart of that journey.

That's where you come in; we are looking for ambitious and forward thinking Digital Product Managers to be responsible for the development, performance and optimisation of the online experience for new and existing customers

About the role

  • Create a powerful vision for digital journeys that resonates with customers and colleagues
  • Develop, maintain and execute the digital strategy with the senior management
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders to obtain and maintain buy in for the digital proposition
  • Take ownership for customer and commercial performance of the digital channels with responsibility for prioritising resources against business objectives
  • Work independently, to understand market and technology trends and changes to guide the digital proposition development
  • Research with customers, colleagues and independent third parties to understand qualitative and quantitative performance to help guide the backlog prioritisation process
  • Define and develop MI capabilities and KPIs both internally with key stakeholders and also with third party companies that provide market and benchmarking data
  • Engage with business functions to understand their priorities to support the Digital Product Owners in creating and prioritising the backlog
  • Support the Product Owner and digital development teams in developing the digital journeys

About you

  • A track record of successful digital delivery and product management
  • A strong understanding of, and passion for, digital
  • Experience of digital journey optimisation
  • Ability to lead change and influence others on the journey
  • Experience of working within a similar FS industry would be beneficial but not essential
  • Driven to succeed and keen to be part of a fast paced and agile business
