This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated marketer to join the Business & Marketing Division within Cambridge Assessment English. The Product Marketing Manager will work within the Higher Education and Adult sector team and will be responsible for marketing implementation in line with the sector and product strategies.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage the global marketing roll-out plan for key campaigns, communicating the central (Cambridge) plan to colleagues in our global offices and have oversight of regional marketing launch plans.

  • Articulate the key tactics for generating awareness for the products relevant to the Higher Education and Adult sector, including Publicity, key programs and events with measurements and goals.

  • Work with either external agencies or our central marketing communications team in commissioning press releases, collateral, content and campaigns targeted at different personas

  • Measure and tune product marketing programs to ensure alignment with sector and product strategy and goals, and within the available budget.
  • Ensure that all departments are prepared for new product releases and all marketing assets required are available to launch the product externally.
  • Work with the Global Product Managers to create and deliver thoughtful information (webinars, blogs, reports, etc. ) to influence candidates, institutional stakeholders, industry specialists, key editors in the press and other third parties.
  • Support regional marketing teams to gain and publish customer testimonials and case studies
  • Work with the Global Product Managers to produce standard promotional product presentations
  • Work with our Events team to maximise product promotion, market intelligence gathering and lead capture mechanism at events, including, conferences, tradeshows, webinars and seminars
  • Devise and drive internal communications to create awareness of our Sector, Product and Staff developments.
  • Work with the Global Product Managers, Marketing Communications, Customer Service and other relevant teams to refine our product customer journeys.


Qualifications
University Degree
Marketing Qualification (desirable)

Skills
  • Knowledge of Cambridge English/Education sector
  • Commercial aptitude to understand and deliver on strategic business requirements
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of the range of marketing tactics and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

    Experience
  • Marketing of relevant products (education/learning/online)
  • Experience of marketing in an international context
  • Experience of working with global teams and within a matrix management environment
  • Experience of devising and implementing campaigns, using a mix of tactics
  • Experience of working with marketing agencies (desirable)
