We are looking to recruit Support Workers for our Homecare Services to be delivered across Pendle, Preston, Burnley, South Ribble and Rossendale and in return we are offering a competitive salary of GBP 10 per hour (inclusive of travel time and mileage).
You will deliver a professional service by providing personal/care and support for service users. You will assist and aid service users to maximise their independence as part of a structured programme of care and support. With the ability to manage conflicting priorities the successful post holder will demonstrate the 'Six Cs' - care, compassion, competence, communication courage and commitment and will be supported to undertake a Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care. Previous experience in the role of Support Worker for mental health / learning disabilities would be an advantage but full training will be provided for those who do not have experience.
We are looking to recruit both full-time and part-time roles, working flexible shift patterns including evenings, weekend and waking nights.
Having your own mode of transport is essential.
