XTX Markets is a leading quantitative-driven electronic market-maker partnering with counterparties, exchanges and e-trading venues globally to provide liquidity in the Equity, FX, Fixed Income and Commodity markets. It provides consistent liquidity, helping market participants throughout the world obtain the best prices in the various assets classes it covers, regardless of changing market conditions.
The role
You will be part of a small team that has complete responsibility for developing all client–facing technology involving quote allocation, distribution through various venues and implementation of post-trade analysis tools.
Candidates will be able to work in a team to rapidly and accurately adapt and extend existing systems to accommodate changing market conditions and business requirements.
Day-to-day activities
- Ongoing development of core pricing engine.
- Expanding integration with new ECNs.
- Maintenance of FIX gateway code.
- Expanding current infrastructure to new asset classes.
- Maintenance and development of real time post-trade analysis systems.
- Share periodic on-call responsibilities.
Essential skills
- A Masters degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Significant demonstrable experience of writing high-performance, concurrent Java.
- Experience working on distributed systems in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of network protocol fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Proficiency with Linux.
