Finance Assistant Role, based in East London for a NHS organisation. Paying GBP13-GBP15 per hour.
Your new company
A major NHS organisation is seeking a finance assistant on a temporary bases based in East London. This NHS trust is based in three boroughs, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and Newham. It is a regional and national centre of excellence for cardiac and cancer care.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for matching purchase ledger invoices to purchase orders, logging invoice onto Sage. You will also be reviewing the aged creditors report and reconciling purchase ledger statements to resolve any queries. Maintain filing of all sales and purchase records for VAT and audit purposes. Dealing with petty cash and postings to spreadsheets and cash books.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed it is essential to have an AAT qualification or to actively be studying for an ACCA/CIMA qualification. You will also need to have previous experience working with accounting software (ideally sage), working with sensitive data and have good IT experience were need such as MS office and excel. Accounts payable experience is essential for this role.
