A rapidly growing company based in High Wycombe is looking for an Accounts Assistance who will be reporting to the Finance Director. The Accounts Assistant will in general ensure that the accounting records in terms of sales and purchases is accurate and up to date to enable Finance Director to prepare monthly management accounts.
Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Keeping the sales ledger up to date
- Keeping the purchases ledger up to date
- Post/import and allocate bank payment and receipts
- Credit Control
- Control of staff expenses claims and staff holidays
- Assisting Finance Director with ad hoc admin tasks
Essential to the role, you will have:
- Excellent accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
It would also be advantageous if you have a good working knowledge of:
- QuickBooks
- Candidate should be able to be self sufficient with accounting packages.
They will be working in a friendly environment. Training will be provided and there will be an excellent opportunity to progress.
Salary is £22-25k negotiable depending on experience.
