Starting salary: £27,616 per annum
Contract:
(fixed term until December 2018)

Location: Based in Birmingham, with frequent travel to Coventry & Warwickshire

Groundwork is a charity working locally and nationally to transform lives in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities.  We’re passionate about creating a future where no-one is held back by their background or circumstances, every neighbourhood is vibrant and green and every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny.

Groundwork UK is lead partner for 'Progress' – a programme of intensive coaching, training and support for disadvantaged young people (aged 15-24 years) in Coventry & Warwickshire. Progress is part of Building Better Opportunities – an initiative funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund to support those who are furthest from the labour market into or towards employment.

With knowledge and experience of youth engagement and employability practices, you will seek, develop and maintain relationships with relevant external stakeholders, helping to ensure that Progress is integrated with other services to maximise the benefits to participants.

We are seeking an individual who can quickly get to grips with a complex and challenging programme, who is able to build and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders, and who will take a proactive approach to maximise opportunities for partners and young people.

This post is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund until project completion in December 2018. Secondments or flexible working arrangements will be considered, subject to compliance with funding regulations.
