We are looking for someone to work within an independent living project to provide support to girls with mental health needs.
All girls living at the service have the capability to look after themselves but will require support with dealing with emotions and learning how to manage these is a safe way. Building skills in preparation for them to live independently and planning for their future.
Due to the nature of this service you will need to have experience of supporting clients with mental health needs. You will need to have strong observational skills and be comfortable handling self harm cases.
In this position you will have the chance to complete written reports, carry out risk assessments and health and safety checks to ensure a smooth running of the service.
