Salary: £24,191 - £27,774 per annum plus Market Rate Premium

Location: Maidstone, Kent

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

Job Role:

The Fire & Rescue are looking for an officer to join our busy IT Application Support team to work with us on a range of exciting tasks, including supporting systems used by front-line firefighters.

You will be part of a busy team that develops and supports key IT business applications for the entire organisation. They support end users and develop off the shelf products to meet the business needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic officer to make a direct contribution to public safety through the innovative application of technology.

The Candidate:

You will have a strong application support mindset and background and will have experience across the whole life cycle of a business application. You will be a good communicator, team player and analytical thinker with an eye for detail.

You will have experience of working within an application support environment supporting relational databases (preferably exposure to HR/Payroll and Time and Attendance systems) but will also ideally have good working knowledge of SQL and a passion for investigating and resolving technical issues.

Preferably you will have had some exposure to the following systems:

• Kronos
• iTrent
• Microsoft CRM
