We currently have a requirement for 7x Full Time Machine Operators with experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment.

Role Purpose
Ensure maximum effectiveness of all manufacturing equipment. Fault find and rectify where possible and within capability, notifying engineering when issues are outside of your remit. Overcome minor technical issues which limit operational equipment effectiveness and make recommendations to improve efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
1.To ensure equipment is set up to the relevant specification and to monitor product quality as required
2.To ensure all production requirements are met to the best of your ability and that machine outputs are maximised at all times
3.To communicate with the shift leader and keep them informed of production status at all times, highlighting any issues or problems as they arise
4.To undertake fault finding activities when equipment problems occur and conduct a repair where possible
5.To contact Engineering when repairs by the Operator are not possible or within capability
6.Complete checks to quality standards
7.Ensure minimum wastage of materials at all times through effective machine operation
8.Conduct effective shift handovers
9.Keep work areas clean and tidy

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Previous experience of Working within a high speed manufacturing/production/service environment with targets and objectives to meet.
*Experience of mechanical equipment fault finding & rectification.
*Experience of setting manufacturing/production equipment.
*Shift Working
