HR Business Partner
Our client are a large local government organisation and are looking for an experienced HR Adviser to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and ensure the provision of a strong HR advisory service at all times.
The successful applicant will be required to come on board and coach, advise and support line managers as well as manage and be responsible for employee relations case workloads including being able to conduct complex casework investigations and present at hearings. You will also help with the design and roll-out of corporate learning and development initiatives as appropriate.
To be considered for this role you will be a member of CIPD and can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of hr best practice in industrial employee relations as well as a thorough understanding of practical application of current and upcoming employment law. You will also have experience delivering human resources advice and support to multi-sited service managers across the human resource functions including applying terms and conditions of service and contracts of employment. The successful applicant will also have knowledge of pay related matters including pay reviews, reward strategy and changes to pay related terms and conditions.
