Engineering Apprenticeship
SKF Cooper is the world's leading supplier of Split Roller Bearings with a strong brand identity which is global in reach and representation. As part of SKF, the world's largest bearing company, employing over 46,000 people throughout 140 countries, we are able to offer exceptional career opportunities.
Our Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering is an exciting opportunity to join a modern engineering company with over 120 years of engineering know-how.
Through progressive training and development you will become a highly skilled and valued engineer within today's manufacturing environment.
For up to 4 years of your apprenticeship, you will be working towards a nationally recognized qualification, which will include technical classroom study alongside practical "hands on" work to BTEC level 3. Following which there may be an opportunity to progress onto a higher qualification e.g. HNC.
Through dedicated support and mentorship, you will learn vital hands-on engineering skills and develop your interpersonal abilities within our on-site training centre. You will progress to develop these skills by working throughout the business to become a multi- skilled engineer across multiple manufacturing disciplines.
This will provide you with advanced knowledge and experience in our world-class manufacturing techniques.
If you would like to join us and have a keen interest in engineering you will need to have logical problem solving abilities, a practical nature and be highly motivated with an eye for detail.
If you feel you meet these attributes you will also need to possess or be working towards 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at Grade C or higher with at least 2 at Grade B or higher. Subjects should include Maths, English and a Science or technical subject. If you meet these criteria, then you could be who we are looking for.
In return we offer competitive rates of pay, 25 days holiday, bonuses and a company pension scheme.
Applicants should apply by email to the HR Department by clicking the button below.
Closing Date Friday 13 April 2018
