About the role: We are looking for a Senior Building Services Engineer to propose, develop and implement planned maintenance requirements university-wide for a specific range of mechanical and electrical assets. You will ensure statutory compliance is achieved and that defined specification, time and cost targets are met. You will have the opportunity to participate in projects, working committees and be able to develop policy and procedures.
About you: As the ideal applicant, you will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or with a significant track record in delivery of planned mechanical and electrical asset maintenance. You will have knowledge of current regulations as applicable to mechanical and electrical asset management, as well as of managing finances and budgeting. You will have experience of managing a team with strong negotiating and influencing skills.
