Torquay, Devon (office/field based, with travel to appointments throughout the Torbay area) 
£18,259 per annum

Westward Housing Group, a leading affordable housing provider, offers outstanding initiatives that help hundreds of people across the South West. We are now looking for a Support Worker to join us on a fixed-term contract until the 31st March 2019. 

During this rewarding contract, you’ll have the chance to provide a vital service that is empowering and supporting vulnerable people within your community.  

You’ll receive a full induction, support and training to provide you with all the skills you need to succeed in your role and make a real difference. 

As a Support Worker, you’ll help to deliver our Outreach Service, which supports people who are sleeping rough in Torbay. 

Based from Leonard Stocks Centre, you’ll provide health-focused support to individuals living in our safe space, as well as those who are street homeless, through our outreach and drop-in service. 

You’ll work closely with health services, homeless agencies and voluntary sector agencies to give individuals the support they need to get back on their feet. Additionally, you’ll travel to appointments throughout the Torbay area to see people you’re supporting.
