At an exciting time of development that includes new SMT members, rebranding and celebrity endorsement, we are looking for an experienced Major Donor Prospect Manager to research and identify major gift opportunities from high net worth individuals, corporate and grant making supporters. Working across the fundraising department, the position offers a varied role and the opportunity to work alongside the newly created celebrity support function. Major Donor Prospect Manager Full Time, Permanent Central London GBP33,000 - GBP39,300 per annum on experience Duties will include: Lead on and develop a fundraising prospect strategy Help identify and prioritise key individuals (including celebrities), trusts and companies who are able to offer significant or increase their existing financial support Provide strategic guidance and undertake prospect research into individuals (including celebrities), organisations and their networks Lead on identification of prospects to expand and refresh the pool of prospective supporters Lead on development and implementation of segmentation and prioritisation systems to ensure the best management of donors and prospects across teams Provide event guest lists and develop attendee briefings for events Undertake in-depth research profiles on key current or potential HNWI and organisations Work with the Relationship Managers to create and update Donor Development Plans Undertake sector-wide insight gathering on funders, sharing these insights as relevant across the organisation Lead on the development of the CRM database to meet the needs of fundraising teams This is a very exciting role within the fundraising department and we are looking for candidates with a strong record of achievement in researching fundraising prospects for major gifts, major donors, philanthropy, individual giving, trusts and corporate support. The ideal candidate will have: Experience of fundraising prospect research across any of the following: individual giving, major donors, major gifts, philanthropy, high net worth individuals, corporate partnerships or trusts & grants Confidence to lead and manage regular cross team meetings that will allow teams to discuss and troubleshoot individual, corporate and trusts donors and prospects Strategic thinker with proven analytical and planning skills and a strong attention to detail Ability to think creatively and use initiative to source information and identify cross team opportunities Excellent organisational and time management skills with proven ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, often working to conflicting deadlines Closing date - Monday 19th March 2018.
