Project Manager (MRICS qualified)

THE ROLE

I am seeking a PROJECT MANAGER to join a unique and dynamic firm who fund and support landlords and property developers on projects across the U.K.

This role will primarily be based in their NORWICH office although occasion site visits will be required.

My client will only consider applications from MRICS qualified project managers with U.K. experience.

A background of working for another firm of PQS/ PM consultants or multi disciplinary consultants is preferred with a good understanding and experience in the construction industry.

THE CLIENT

Our client is a dynamic firm offering property developers and landlords funding, training and support.

They are set to revolutionise the property investment industry in the UK.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Degree qualified and MRICS qualified Project Manager with good experience of a range of building construction projects.

You will have worked on all stages of projects - RIBA Stages 1-6.

You should be able to oversee our clients' projects and be able to provide advice, and organise professionals working on the project, carry out risk assessments whilst continously monitoring to ensure all guidelines are met.

This is primarily an office based role coordinating with property developers over the phone and via cloud based systems.

Duties will include:-

Coordinate with property developers

Provide project management support to property developers

Understand and explain JCT contracts plus collateral warranties, pro forma design consultant appointments and employer's requirements.

Understanding pre and post contract information requirements.

Coordinate with building and monitoring surveyors.

Review each project status on a monthly basis.

Over accounting, costing and billing.

Upload updates into the company's project management system.

Coordinate with other departments.

Use company cloud based systems on a daily basis so good computer literacy essential.

You will be an ambitious project manager with a few years project management experience in the construction industry and be keen to join a firm offering good prospects for the future.

Salary is in the region of GBP45000 or a bit more plus pension contribution, profit share, twice yearly reviews plus the opportunity to work with knowledgable and ambitious directors in a sociable environment.
