Operations Manager

Kenect Personnel are delighted to be recruiting for an Operations Manager to join a townhouse style stunning hotel in a prime location of London. With over 150 beautifully designed rooms this hotel is the perfect hot spot for family, friends and business associates.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient operational running of the Hotel whilst maintaining a high standard and motivated to deliver first class service to all guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own personal development and will take care and pride in their work.

Location: Central London

Salary: GBP40,000GBP50,##### ######Essential: 1 year or more experience working as an Operations Manager in the hospitality industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead from the front and be a strong, credible leader with a very handson approach
Deputising in the absence of the General Manager
Contributing to the success of the hotel by ensuring that the service standards are maintained and delivered at all times whilst maximising profitability in line with budget
Ensure good safety practices of employees and guests, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures
Providing effective support and management to all Heads of Department
Work in conjunction with Human Resources in the recruitment and development of staff
Involve the team in developing and implementing new service and revenue initiatives
Carry out systematic checks of the hotel for maintenance requirements, repairs or refurbishing, ensuring these are reported to the Maintenance Manager.
Undertake Duty Management shifts as required
Gain working knowledge of all operational departments, to monitor, review and improve departmental standards

The Person:

You will be a role model for the brands value and reflect professional ethics and conduct
Ensure good working relationships are maintained with clients and colleagues
You must demonstrate commitment to the business vision
Great attention to detail
Display a proactive and leading role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures and skills development

Have experience of working within a hotel operation ideally in a 4* or 5* environment

Engaging and the ability to inspire

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
