About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a transformational and progressive mental health team of Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Systemic Family Therapists and Art Psychotherapists. The post holder will join our Emotional Health Service, which is operational at Tier 2 CAMHS. The service supports children, young people and families across Richmond and Kingston upon Thames. This role provides brief interventions to young people and their families and carers, and consultation and training to colleagues in universal and targeted services.
The Service works to improve the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children, young people and families across the borough of Richmond and Kingston.
The Service is also part of Children's IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) and is working in partnership with Specialist Tier 3 CAMHS Services.
The Service is accessed via the Single Point of Access (SPA). The SPA manages all requests for involvement including mental health and emotional well-being.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced mental health clinicians who have experience in working with young people and their families/ carers. We are particularly looking for a clinician with skills and experience in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with children and young people for the post.
Ideally, you will have experience in supervising qualified staff. You will need to be committed to working and have positive outcomes at the heart of your clinical practice.
