Reporting directly to the UK HR Director, this HRBP role supports a major business line within Intertek, based at multiple sites with key sites in Farnborough, Sunbury and West Thurrock but with the opportunity and requirement to travel across the UK given the scope of the business.

More about the role
Supporting one of our key client groups in achieving their business plans and strategies, you will be required to provide best practice hands on HR Business Partnering expertise. As a key member of the HRBP team and business line management team you will need to deliver exceptional HRBP support by coaching, advising and supporting managers on all people aspects. Including but not limited to:
- Application of best practice/ policy
- Change management
- Organisational redesign and optimization
- Employee Relations review and management
- Talent management and development to ensure engagement and aligned succession planning
- Pay, reward and recognition
- Support and drive the performance development cycle
- Support in Recruitment initiatives, supporting managers and resourcing partner
- Liaise with HR Operations to support administration and payroll of the client group
- Provide HR Support and guidance for acquisitions
- Communicate and endorse HR Policy and Procedures
- Work with the wider HR team to focus on continuous improvement in designing and reviewing policies and procedures as appropriate.
About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following key skills and experience:
- Experience in a hands-on Business Partnering HR role ideally within a diverse and complex business and a strong track record of achieving results in HR delivery and motivated by this.
- Strong stakeholder management, project and change management skills
- CIPD qualified.
- Good understanding and awareness of UK employment law and experience in handing complex employee relation issues.
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written including ability to tailor style to audience.
- Full UK driving license
