A global Investment Bank based in the City of London is recruiting for an Equity Derivative Analyst to sit within the Middle Office team. The team has critical focus on front office day to day risk and trading issues and acts as first point of contact for the various Equity Derivatives Trading desks, assisting in the execution of both new client and hedging activity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Trade management & timely allocation of trades, dealing with trade queries from internal and external clients.
*Support execution of Structured and bespoke transactions.
*Reconciliation & trade reconciliation, corporate actions processing and reconciliation, risk reconciliation, P&L reconciliation and completion of tasks associated with control around the business.
*Identification of areas for improvement in processes Documentation of procedures and process flows to help enhance our controls around the business.
*Daily review of control reports to ensure all trade bookings and risk management is accurate.
*Working with internal clients to ensure that all breaks are resolved - these include external clients, internal trading desks, PB reps, Sales, Structuring, Settlements, Documentation etc.
*Training and development of team members to a high standard Liaising with other teams to ensure timely resolution of queries.
