Senior Risk Analyst

High calibre individual with a strong academic background and practical experience gained from the clearing/post trade environment sought by this prestigious City institution.

This is a high profile role offering exposure to senior finance professionals and cutting edge new initiatives. Focus is on the analysis and mitigation of risk within the clearing environment and a good knowledge of the financial markets must accompany strong analytical and report writing skills. Familiarity with relevant regulation will be an advantage.

Specific responsibilities will include the analysis and assessment of risk, market and sector analysis and undertaking due diligence visits. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and as such confident communication skills and the ability to relay complex technical information in plain English and an engaging manner are essential.

Applicants must demonstrate an excellent academic record to include an advanced degree in a quantitative subject and a background in risk analysis/management gained for a banking, consultancy or CCP environment.
