INTERNAL EXCLUSION ROOM MANAGER

Contract: 39 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary: S5 £20,661 to £22,658 per annum (pro rata)

Required as soon as possible, this large secondary Academy is seeking an exceptional individual to head up our Internal Exclusion Room. Our IER is used as a behaviour sanction but a strong element of restorative work is also carried out to ensure we retain our excellent standards of student behaviour and conduct.

To be successful, you will have a strong authoritative presence and the gravitas to work with students who are sometimes challenging.  However you will also have a track record of using your skills and experience to gain trust, and to achieve positive results with young people.  Other essential skills are a good level of literacy and numeracy, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to remain calm and unflustered when challenged.
