Media Planner / Buyer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Media Planner / Buyer to join an award-winning and forward-thinking media agency. Based in Edinburgh, the successful Media Planner will earn a salary of £16,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

The agency challenges convention and evolves with their clients as their marketing priorities change. We provide Boutique levels of service and attention to detail, to provide a unique form of agency. As a Media Planner / Buyer you will be responsible for planning and buying advertising campaigns across all media channels (including digital), both within the UK and worldwide. Key duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Sales management including providing quotations for media briefs to create sales
• Account management of successful sales
• Developing relationships with clients and suppliers
• A broad range of administrative and media planning duties
• To communicate with all departments ensuring smooth running of all campaigns

To be considered for the role of Media Planner / Buyer you must have a passion for building a career in advertising. In addition, the following key skills and experience are desirable:

• Experience in a similar role including digital media buying
• Experience using You Gov research is preferable
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Great communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Impressive customer service ability
• Able to multitask effectively and work well under pressure

In addition to a salary of £16,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience), the successful Media Planner will receive the following benefits:
