Program Manager

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Program Manager. This is a contract roleuntil June with view to be extended for 18 months, based in Reading.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Program Manager as part of the team supporting a select number of depth engagements with strategic customers and partners. This candidate will work day-to-day with the other team members as well as with internal stakeholders across the, external partners, and end customers. The PM will capture requirements, establish project plans, drive regular planning and status meetings, provide status reporting, create executive report content, identify and engage appropriate subject matter experts across multiple projects

Key responsibilities

o Defining and reporting on initiative progress: each innovation initiative needs a clearly defined set of goals, timelines for achieving those goals, and a set of resources to be held accountable for various work streams. Your role is to work with the program leads to define each of these and then help them to drive the team towards achieving what they set out to do.
o Logistics support: customer meetings, workshops, and training events all require coordination of rooms, speakers, catering, agenda, and in some cases note taking of items agreed to and action items with owners. You will help in all of these areas and make sure that action items from meetings with customers and partners are followed up on by the appropriate owner.
o Tracking and reporting: We have many action items and work streams happening simultaneously across the team. We need your help to organize, follow up on, and report outcomes from these work streams and the action items arising from them.


o Must have solid experience of using Word, Excel and PowerPoint which they will be using every day - must be confident using all three
o Demonstrated experience setting and managing program goals and resource planning
o Track record of driving projects independently and executing on them successfully
o Excellent project management skills with solid examples of managing many stakeholders and outputs
o Great at organizing information into a framework that makes it easy for others to find and use
o Comfort approaching resources at any level to secure their commitment to participate in customer and partner meetings

Salary: up to £36,000 per annum
