Business Development Manager
Harris Hill are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, ASAP for 3 months on a full time basis.The Business Development Manager (BDM) will work within the New Business and Partnerships Team (NBP) reporting to the Head of Business Development (HBD). The NBP team (seven people including this post) co-ordinates and manages the business development process, in conjunction with others (e.g. Lead Technical Writer, Senior Management, Programme Management and Finance Teams). The BDM will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities, pursuing and developing pre-qualification documents, and developing technical and commercial proposals for new work. The BDM also contributes to the implementation of new business strategy, supporting our approach to new clients and expansion in new countries.Experience:Extensive experience in business development, resource mobilisation or programme management in international developmentBuilding successful relationships with clients, collaborators and consultantsSourcing and contracting consultantsWork in/with developing countriesIdentification and tracking business opportunitiesSupporting the development and contributing to successful proposals for government, foundations and other donorsGood networks with any or all of the following: consultancy firms, client organisations (DFID, and other donors), civil society and overseas government organisations.Please enquire for further information.
