Senior Support Engineer - £32,800 per annum – Vauxhall – Full Time Permanent.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of drug and addiction treatment services. They deliver drug and alcohol services – in prisons and in the community – which help people move away from addiction and crime. These services provide a variety of support, including advice, counselling, group work and intensive treatment.

They are currently looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join their IT team.

Role Overview

This role is primarily a based in Head Office, Vauxhall

The role will also involve occasional travel to their sites around the UK.

The work will be ranging from some day-to-day face-to-face, telephone and remote support, as well as working with the Head of ICT on project implementations.  Occasional out of hours work will be necessary and there will be opportunity for working from home.

The demand for high levels of support and the ability to work well under pressure both individually and as part of a support team will hold you in good stead.

Individuals who can provide 2nd/3rd line support on desktop infrastructure and Microsoft Servers as well as assisting with current IT transformation projects around Office365 & Sharepoint Online.

The successful candidate will have experience of providing 2nd/3rd line support on desktop infrastructure and Microsoft Servers, and implement new server and desktop technologies.

Those who have experience managing the implementation of hardware/software related projects will be considered.

You will have a passion for IT and be committed to continually learning and keeping abreast of industry developments. You will be a positive, friendly team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
