This is a high-profile role, both internally and externally, to the business, running & managing the call centre and associated staff, along with ongoing relationships. The role is dynamic with duties varying on a day to day basis depending on the business needs.

To work within the FCA guidelines at all times and adhering to the Data Protection Act 1998.

Duties

Ensure agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Excellent communication skills to service internal and external clients.

Assist the Project Manager and Team Mangers in the production and maintenance of project plans.

Develop and maintain the project library, recording and reporting system.

Develop and implement appropriate configuration management procedures.

Co-ordinate the production of all reports and produce project summary report.

Set up and maintain systems for recording project costs.

Define and document procedures in accordance with agreed methodology.

Advise and assist the Project Manager in the application of project procedures, disciplines, reporting and recording standards.

Maintain risk and issues log and change control records.

Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the Project and Development Teams.

Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Project Manager.

Training given

Training is provided on in house systems, policies and procedures.

Person Specification

Knowledge and experience of a formal project management methodology.

A high level of computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite, and the willingness and skills to learn new systems quickly.

Project Planning ability.

Experience of working on IT/IS projects and programmes.

Ability to analyse and present information.

Aspirations to be a Project Manager (you will be required to complete the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Course).
