Project Manager - The Role

Leading our small Fundraising Project Management team you will be responsible for strategically co-ordinating key fundraising projects and making sure our fundraising work supports growth targets and meets KPI's. This will involve working with the Campaign Manager to ensure processes and timelines are followed, teams work collaboratively, campaign efficiency is maximised and we continually put supporters first.

We want you to transform the way we work as a team, improving how we communicate, helping us to be more proactive and forward looking in our day-to-day activities. As our in-house authority on project management we will look to you to adapt and improve current ways of working by introducing project management techniques, tools and documentation as well as providing an outstanding centralised project management resource to support the delivery of supporter-facing campaigns. This will include helping to design, mould and drive our internal management processes.

Project Manager - Requirements

You must have experience as an account or project manager in a service organisation or within a fundraising/charity environment. This will have given you a strong understanding of relevant fundraising regulatory and quality standards. You will have expertise in project management methodologies and processes as well as the ability to prioritise and plan whilst retaining a keen attention to detail too. An effective communicator you will be good at building relationships and possess well developed influencing, negotiating and motivational skills.

You will also have some experience of leading a team, managing budgets and the ability to understand the 'bigger picture' as well as a good grasp of systems and processes,.

Who are we?

WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive.

Best known as the world's leading conservation body, we've seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That's why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action - tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
