About Our Client:

Our client is now recruiting for a Traffic and Documentation Coordinator to join the busy GB Traffic and Planning Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with shipping experience to join an established team of four the European Headquarters of our client, based in London’s Docklands.

Principal Accountabilities of the Traffic and Documentation Coordinator:

  • Coordinating Traffic & Documentations issues by liaising with local offices
  • Guiding European offices on Standard Operation Procedures related to Traffic and Documentation
  • Surveying and researching market conditions for Demurrage & Detention
  • Trouble shooting for issues related to Traffic & Documentation
  • Supervising local offices’ Demurrage & Detention invoice performance
  • Supervising customer dispute issues and cargo claims
  • Monitoring transhipment long idling
  • Compiling periodical reports for own tasks
  • Coordinating service quality management
  • Supervising change of destination / change of vessel auditing & recovery
  • Monitoring long idling containers
  • Handling change of destination and mis-delivery operation (back-up)

Work Skills required for the Traffic and Documentation Coordinator:

  • Analyitical approach with attention to detail with tenacity
  • Excellent communication skills to lead counterparts
  • Knowledgeable with Traffic & Documentation in daily field operation

(Customer Service experiences in HMM Indonesia and UK would be desirable)
