Software Developer

I am currently recruiting for a new and exciting role for my client. They are looking for an experienced Mid-Senior Backend PHP Developer to join their company based in Leeds

My client prides themselves on being understanding and caring about retail, this is what drives to provide excellent service in everything they do.

You will be working on projects based around processing large volumes of data and exposing this data via REST API's of client devices. The role is almost entirely backend, so no design or fronted skills are required, and would need to support more junior members of the team in their development and learning.

The ideal candidate will be a strong developer, able to tackle complex problems and work with large scale frameworks and applications using modern PHP development practices.

You must have at least 3 years commercial experience in CakePHP or a similar MVC PHP framework, you will be PHP certified (or have a similar level of experience) and will have already embraced practices like Test Driven Development.

You will also be working within a friendly team with a positive attitude, young and fast growing company with lots of chances for job progression and responsibility to work independently.
