Together Trust are recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer to join our Head Office function in Cheadle, Stockport. We are a children & young people’s charity predominately in the North West with an annual turnover of approximately £26 million. We provide support to up to 2000 people with a staffing force off approximately 850. As a Senior Finance Officer your role will include the following responsibilities;

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • To line manage our small but busy transactional finance team ensuring monthly deadlines for management accounts are met.
  • Provide expertise in maintaining and improving accounting, banking and other financial software, preparing reports and advising on data extraction.
  • Responsibility for the Trusts banking systems including making all payments to suppliers and staff, together with cash flow.
  • Maintaining and improving all financial records and preparing journals as required for month end.

It is essential that you have advanced IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel, Sage Line 200 and other financial and banking software experience. Ideally you will be CIMA (or similar) qualified or be willing to work towards this qualification and a team leader. You will be a proactive person who encourages improvement, performance and change.
