With a rich Cornish heritage, our client produces high quality pastry products that are enjoyed and loved by thousands across the UK. They are now looking for a number of Production Operatives to join their team and make pasties. 

As a Production Operative, you will have the chance to learn all the processes, techniques and age-old skills that go into creating one of the UK’s best loved foods – the Cornish pasty. 

Specifically, once trained, you will work as part of a team assembling food products within a production line. 

You’ll be making sure that the pasties for which our client is famous for live up to standard and give customers that unique taste sensation every time. 

Your duties will include: 

- Carrying out production tasks as directed by your Team Leader 
- Making sure all products that you help to produce are up to scratch and of a high quality 
- Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene 
- Ensuring continuous production is maintained where possible 
- Operating machinery and equipment in a safe and professional manner 
- Taking part in the set-up, maintenance and shut-down of production lines 

Although no experience is necessary, the ideal candidate will have food manufacturing experience and food safety or health and safety training, however these are by no means essential.
