Salary: £20,456 - £23,769

Contract Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are currently recruiting for a Trainer Facilitator/Assessor in Computing to join our Hi Tech, Engineering & Computing team here at South Devon College. The responsibilities this role includes are instructing and facilitating learning for students who are enrolled on a range of programmes as assigned by the Section Head and Programme Co-Ordinators. You will be required to undertake assessment of student's knowledge and competence as appropriate by formal or informal methods as required by external examining bodies and internal procedures. You will be responsible for contributing to the curriculum development and implementation of pastoral and welfare systems provided for students.

The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant level 3 qualification or above in computing networking, computing systems and programming and a GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths. If not already held, you will be required to attain a teaching qualification within the College's specified timescale. The post holder will need to have experience of working in a range of computing software and hardware environments, and experience of developed and established website applications. In order for you to be successful in this post you will need to hold a current driving licence and be able to travel between sites whilst undertaking industrial visits including offsite training and assessment.
