About the Role:
In your role as an Apprentice you will undertake a four year training programme, attending training 3 days a week (during first year) to obtain your NVQ Apprenticeship, as well as working with skilled people within Precision Engineering, carrying out a broad range of duties to gain skills in the following areas:

  • Metal Finishing, Machining
  • Assembly, Maintenance
  • Mechanical Design, Research & Development
  • Lean Manufacturing, Project Management

Future prospects:
Successful completion of this programme may result in full time employment being offered depending on the attitude, aptitude, commitment and ability shown across the programme.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the ability to work well within a team whilst having the confidence to work on their own initiative.
Ability to focus on learning new skills

  •  Enthusiasm, drive and commitment to a career in Engineering
  •  Good communication skills and able to motivate themselves in a given situation
  •  Obtain 3 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) including Mathematics and English, a Science would be advantageous
