Interior Technical Designer, Witham -
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interior Technical Designer to work alongside the Head of Design when providing technical drawings and expertise such as 2D space planning, schematic layouts, furniture design, signage, etc.
Working in conjunction with the wider project team, the Interior Technical Designer will ensure that design schemes are delivered on time and to the highest level. Other key responsibilities will include working alongside external contractors and partners to understand project requirements; Support the Head of Design to bring branding, interior design, and relevant visual styling to life in a 3D workspace; Surveying on site for floor plans and elevations; Attend client facing meetings and external site visits where appropriate; Adhere to the company's set drawing templates and guidelines.
This role would suit a competent individual who can hit the ground running and so we are looking for designers with a minimum of 2 years' experience who know AutoCAD and SketchUp inside out.
Previous technical expertise is a necessity along with 2D space-planning, schematic layouts and furniture design experience. Some knowledge base in construction, shop fitting, etc. is desirable.
