Professional Development Coach - Gloucestershire College

Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) are recruiting 2 x Professional Development Coaches in a full time, term-time only (38 weeks per year) fixed term capacity to join the Student Development team based at Gloucestershire College.

Are you passionate about helping young people develop? This role looks at broadening student's experiences in preparation for the world of work. It suits those who have worked in youth work or coaching environments with young people and requires the ability to build excellent rapport with young people.

As a Professional Development Coach your relationship with young people is paramount as we look for individuals to inspire and empower students, running activities to develop their skills and supervise off-site group projects.

In this role you have the flexibility to run projects and activities which work alongside the student's interest which are engaging and not constricted to a particular curriculum or scheme of work. When an enthused debate is sparked, you will facilitate discussion, always encouraging and providing opportunity for student self-reflection on their strengths, ambitions and future.
