Senior Town Planner

THE ROLE

We are seeking a SENIOR TOWN PLANNER to join our client in their Southampton office.

You will be MRTPI qualified.

Experience of working as a Town Planner in the private sector or public sector is required, possibly with experience of both.

THE CLIENT

Our client is an established firm of Town Planners working on all types of developments for clients in the private and public sectors.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Senior Town Planner who is already chartered with at least three years or more town planning experience.

Our client is working on a large amount of new development plans and strategic new settlements and you will have the opportunity of working with clients in the private and public sectors.

You should have previous experience of working in development management led work and a good understanding of local and national planning policy is required.

You will have the opportunity of working across the full spectrum of town planning activities, including the promotion of large scale development opportunities. You will also be able to work on the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals for a range of development types and local plan representations.

You will need to have a UK driving licence.

Salary in the range of GBP30000 to GBP40000 slightly negotiable plus car allowance, bonus, pension, health insurance etc.
