Production Operative (Printer) - Office Based - Merstham
Right now, we have a requirement for an enthusiastic, efficient Production Operator to provide and maintain a high quality/customer focused document-printing service and to ensure and maintain that a high level of customer service is achieved, by responding quickly to their demands ensuring the service levels are achieved or exceeded.
The role holder will need to be competent within the reprographics printing environment and produce work to high standards, operating as a first line fix for any machine problems.
Key Result areas include:
-Producing work according to specification & schedule; including booking in of work, preparations, reprographic production, scanning, binding, finishing, regular stock level checks, packaging and delivery of completed work back to the clients to meet customer requirements.
-Ensure all appropriate information is captured and transferred into MIS correctly to ensure accurate invoicing.
-Ensure print room equipment is serviceable and operable during contracted hours. Help solve operational problems quickly and efficiently, and carry out basic maintenance tasks as required to limit impact to production.
-Continually work to achieve completed production within customer deadlines to meet customer expectations.
-Build relationships with users and manage their perception and expectations, including resolving immediate/simple operational problems to enhance the customer experience.
-Responsible for own and others Health & Safety, operating in and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment to ensure that the work environment is a safe place to work.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
-Sound working knowledge of printers, black and white and colour copiers within the mid to very high volume production arenas including but not limited to wide format devices.
-Scanning and imaging
-Attention to detail
-Proficient IT Skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
-A customer focused approach, exhibiting a reliable and responsible attitude
