Business Development Officer

St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices:

St Barnabas House provides palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care, day hospice and community care.

Chestnut Tree House is the children's hospice reaching across Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing care and support for children/young people and their families with life-shortening conditions.

Business Development Officer

37.5 hours per week

GBP23,270 to GBP28,120 (depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role)

Based: St Barnabas House, Worthing

We're looking for a real self-starter with a passion for identifying and driving forward opportunities to develop the services we provide to our patients and their families.

Experienced in project management and ideally with a knowledge of NHS structures you will work across the charity, identifying potential development opportunities and working these up into clear project proposals for the senior team to consider and implement. You will also be the go-to person with the knowledge of national, regional and local strategies in our areas of expertise, so you will need to love researching and keeping abreast of sector developments.
