Valuation Surveyor - Development
A property consultancy requires a Chartered Valuation Surveyor to working on funding of affordable and social housing developments which are financed by banks and the bond market. You will be conducting detailed valuations using discounted cash-flow models to allow lenders to make decisions on social housing developments, using their existing stock as collateral.
You will be joining a small team in the Birmingham office that feathers into a much larger national team, and you will be working on schemes in the Midlands region.
They seek a Valuation Surveyor from a commercial valuation background who would be interested in forging their career into this area. Any Surveyor that has worked in a commercial consultancy in valuation would be suitable. Full training will be given to work in this particular area and how to utilise discounted cash-flow models.
Because the developments can range up to GBP200 million in value the fees can be high, and as a result this team pay good bonuses.
