Head of Events- Mass Participation

I am working with a leading health organisation who is hoping to appoint an experienced Head of Events on a permanent basis. Leading a high performing team you will be required to grow income through events and deliver a first class events strategy.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the events strategyIn line with the events strategy, develop plans and budgetsImplement marketing strategies to achieve business objectivesEnsure supporters receive exceptional care that will result in lifetime commitment and valueOwn multi million pound income and expenditure budgets, delivering greatest value from the expenditureManaged and re forecast budgets accuratelyLead, inspire and develop a high performing events teamLook out for new opportunities that will result in income being increasedStrive to always improve on current portfolio of eventsDeputise for the Director where appropriateEssential Criteria to be considered:Extensive experience of delivering large scale mass participation eventsKnowledge of a broad range of innovative fundraising and events methodsAn understanding of marketing techniques, especially digitalExperience of working as SMT levelDemonstrable leadership experience and line management responsibility for large teamsBe results and target driven.Experience of delivering complex budgetsA track record of delivering an events strategy
