Revenue Manager - Immediate Start/Interview Hours: 9am - 5pm ( 5 out of 7 includes working ONE day at the weekend) Salary: GBP30,000 per annum West London We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Revenue Manager to join a successful hotel group. HOTEL EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE. The duties of the Revenue Manager will include (but may not be limited to):
  • Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices.
  • Manage competitors analysis, business mix yield, distribution channels, length of stay, inventory availability
  • Identify new revenue opportunities
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting or as needed Challenge and influence hotel to improve service level and operational standards.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with levels of staff at the guests.
  • Create and manage a 12 month calendar
  • Create and develop pricing strategies
  • Analyze overall month hotel performance and summary report with recommendations to improvement strategies
  • Ensure company's website revenue is increasing and extranet is managed (price, availability, restrictions, admin bookings)
  • Oversee and audit the standards and operations of Front Desk/Reservations department
  • Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations department
  • Regularly check incoming reservations emails and queries from guests
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Accounts department
  • Cover Front Desk once needed
  • On monthly basis or as needed prepare banking, petty cash and payroll
  • Proceed with orders for Housekeeping and Maintenance as needed Other tasks as per GM's instructions
The successful Revenue Manager will have:
  • Hotel Revenue Manager experience
  • Knowledge of Opera system
  • A degree or equivalent in Hotel Management or Tourism
  • Good command of the English Language
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
