A well-known London social regeneration charity is seeking a new Associate Director for Partnerships & Learning to join their team on a six month contract.
The purpose of the role is to work closely with the executive, management team and external partners to increase revenue for the organisation as well as measure impact and raising the overall presence and brand of the charity.
The principal responsibilities of the role include:
Provide leadership on the development of existing and new business including the supervision of quality bids, grants and funding applications; often in conjunction with the executive and fundraising management teams.
Provide coordination and oversight of the charity's impact measurement and reporting activities including: data monitoring systems, impact measuring and evaluation, report producing for internal and external audiences and more.
Oversee the assessment of all grant-giving activities to individuals and organisations including relationship management, establishing and adhering to grant-giving criteria and measuring the impact of grant giving activities.
Provide leadership and oversight to all of the charity's community development programmes including the commission, management and development of agreed events; develop and maintain key partnerships for these events, and work closely with partner organisations and community member to ensure effective design, collaboration and implementation.
The charity is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
Significant and successful experience operating at a senior level in charity management (e.g. fundraising/business development/grant giving/community development/arts & culture)
Experience of devising, implementing and evaluating fundraising/business development strategies with knowledge and understanding of social impact reporting frameworks and methodologies.
Successful experience of developing and maintaining relationships with grant making trusts and of working with high net-worth supporters.
Highly numerate, sufficient for developing, budgeting and reporting fully-costed fundraising/business development proposals.
Experience of managing and supervising staff and/or consultants (at a management level) and of managing a budget.
