My client is a leading Environmental and Ecological Consultancy with over 20 years' experience in the industry, working specifically on infrastructure, renewable energy and commercial development projects. With over 50 staff at present, my client are looking to expand their team further and are currently seeking an Environmental Consultant to join their team in Edinburgh.

The role:

• Delivering on-site environmental and ecological auditing
• Extensive work in the field across Scotland
• Constructing regular site reports and Habitat Regulations Appraisals
• Environmental Management Plans and Species Protection Plans
• Use of Microsoft Work and Excel and digital photography
• Delivering Ecological Clerk of Works for both long and short term projects
• Supporting general administrative duties
• Opportunities for in-house training and career development opportunities

To be successful in your application, your skills will include:

• An Environmental related degree
• CIEEM membership and/or AEECoW membership
• Demonstrable Phase 1 Habitat and protected species surveying
• Experience in an Environmental Clerk of Works role
• CSCS card holder
• Ability to work away from home
• Full, UK's drivers licence
